Amazing sight. Guides told us that January is the most exciting month to visit as pups are being born & bulls are fighting for mating rights.

We had room 51, on the main street. Its comfortable & mostly clean with an interesting setup. It couldn't be more central, sitting on the main street in Carmel. We were there at the end of March so it was reasonably quiet but we still heard every word uttered by passers by - I imagine it would be very noisy during busy season. That said, for a short walk to the beach & to be in the thick of it, its a decent spot.
