Very clean bathrooms and common areas, neat little store, great amenities including a little fitness center and friendly hosts. Unfortunately, there is very little shade although there are several small trees planted that will help in several years time. Make sure your AC works if you travel here during the summer because you will likely be in full sun and high heat!
Greeted by a very nice lady at the desk. The park is very clean and well maintained. Next to a nice river for fishing. On the pricier side, but a nice place to stay.
Only 4 stars because we were greeted by a very rude registration clerk who soured my enthusiasm for the first few hours in the park, but otherwise the campsite was very nice. I was expecting more crowded conditions, but it wasn't bad. Being next to the river with the wildlife is certainly a huge bonus. Be sure to make reservations way in advance especially if traveling in summer.
An oasis in the desert. Lots of full grown trees for shade and grass. Two pools, one has a slide that you pay extra for. Neat highway, but not so close that it's too noisy.
Fantastic stop and well worth the detour. Falls are spectacular and the lake provides a wonderful place to swim, play and relax. $3 park entrance fee/car is well worth it.
Reasonably clean park and facilities. Fishing lake is a pond, catch and release only, no swimming. Park was quiet (although the highway isn't far off and there is noticeable noise if in a tent) and reasonably priced for full hook ups.
Nothing here. Is this a real place?
