Stayed in site 11. Plenty of space from neighbors. Don’t be deceived by pictures on Recreation.gov. This site is not directly on lake. The pictures on website must have been taken when lake was flooded.

Beautiful location on the river. Close to Fort Collins and The Mish! Great hiking, loved watching the rafters shoot down the river! Easily got our 25 foot airstream into the site and campground. The hairpin turn listed in the description was no issue. Hike Hewlett Gulch trail just down the road. Had a few beers and saw a free band at Mishawaka Amphitheater. If you drive into Fort Collins get some coffee at Harbringer and chocolate at Nuance, both in Old Town.

Spent 4 nights over 4th of July. Had a wonderful time. Loved parade in Crested Butte and Fireworks in Gunnison. It was a beautiful campground close to lots of experiences. No problem getting a reservation last minute. Beautiful views and lots of space. No hookups, but not hot so no need for air conditioning. Bathrooms and water available to wash dishes.

Needed a place to stay a couple of nights while visiting friends in Denver before heading into mountains. Location was easy to access. Had electric hookups. Able to fill water tank, but no dump onsite. Camp host super helpful. Our site was right next to dumpsters, but was so large it didn’t matter, no smell at all. Site was pretty, with big shade trees. Lots of birds, saw an eagle, turkey and geese. Much better than staying in an rv park. Easy to get to Longmont and Loveland.

Needed a stop on our way to Colorado and wanted something different than a koa off the interstate. Pulled in about 3pm, had water and sewer hookups and beautiful lakefront spot! Inflated the SUP and hung out on lake for a couple of hours to unwind!

Stayed for one night while seeing Dead and Co. in Boulder. Campsite was clean, convenient and had full hookups. Sites are close to each other, but super easy if you are looking for something near Denver or just want to explore the cute town of Lyons. Everything is walking distance from campground. Host was super friendly and check in was easy.
Peaceful back in site. Well spaced. Sunrise and moonrise out of the rear hatch of our new airstream. Great for paddle boards and kayaks, you can launch straight from the site. If you are into disc golf, there is a new course in Andover just minutes away. Site was level with 30 amp service. Now water or sewer, but there is potable water and a dump station for free when you arrive at the campground. We got here at 3pm on a Thursday in August and had our choice of the campsites, it was about half full by 7pm. Att cell service was 2 bars of 5G.

Campground is easy to find. Easy to park our trailer, big sites. Lovely lake with lots of activities. Marina with full rentals, grill and store. Planned on doing a 12 mile hike but couldn’t get past the swinging bridge that was out. The website did say the bridge was out, but was hoping there was a way to hike around it. Limited cell phone service. Could get a call out or text, but that was about it. Our site was fantastic. CR 024. 30 amp service and shared water. We could stretch a hose to fill when we first arrived at our site.

Well maintained campground. 30 amp electric only, but free dump station and potable water available. We had a view of marina and lake from our site. Lake is close, but trees block the view from most campsites. I believe many campsites have lake views in winter after leaves fall. Short walk brings you to pebble beach in a protected cove, perfect for swimming and fishing. Nice hiking and mountain biking trails. Park has two separate areas to launch boats. Lots of fishing boats in campground, sites were spacious so plenty of space for them. We brought our kayaks, perfect lake for paddling. Limited cell service.

Didn't stop, but nice break to the flat fields as we drove past.
