One of the classier bars in Oxford. Dimly lit, Euro-club atmosphere, and friendly service. A great place for a date or a night out with friends. A bit pricey, but they have great specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Stunning trail off the beaten path. This is one of my favorite places to hike in Cincy. We used to take our dog here a lot to get out. My favorite time of year here is the winter, as the leaves are all gone and the creek is usually frozen over. If you're a trail runner, this place will be right up your alley as well.
One of the classiest bars in Oxford, O Pub is a great place to go with your parents or chill with some friends. They have live music a few times a week. They're known for their wine list, but they have a killer beer menu as well.
The food here is amazing for the options in a college town. It's incredibly expensive and upscale, so there aren't many students here without their parents. The place is intimate, so make sure to arrive early or call beforehand. Definitely some of the fanciest and best dining in the Oxford area.
Sheesh, this place is pricey. The portion sizes are tiny, and the place feels quirky for a college town. However, the food is good. It's just absurd to go here as a broke college kid.
If you love history and planes, this is the place to be. They have a huge collection of things, the guides are very friendly, and the place is free! You can walk through a bunch of presidential planes in their new exhibit, so that's nifty.
I grew up backpacking here, and I have to say it evokes so much nostalgia. Breathtaking scenery, kind people, and some of the best climbing in the Midwest. It's a great place to go for a night or a week. I've been going down for 16 years, and I still find new trails and wonders every time.
Amazing view of the city. The houses in the area are gorgeous, they have some cool concrete structures you can climb on (I'm not advocating breaking the law here), and a sweet little trail that goes to a great overlook. This is definitely a hidden gem in Cincy, and tends to be more of a college crowd thanks to UC being next door.
Pro tip- Come hang out here during the Fourth of July to enjoy the fireworks throughout the city!
Hands down one of my favorite parks in Cincinnati. They have tons of green space, a fun little wall to climb on, and beautiful water features. You can see wedding and prom photos happening here usually. A great place to go play frisbee with friends or have a picnic with a date. The overlook of the city is breathtaking too.
