Great park for hitting the beach. No camp fires but if your into launching your kayak off their beach for some fun or fishing it’s the place for you. Close to Navarre beach, restaurants and some night life. Staff is excellent!!! Very friendly with clean facilities.
Stayed here on our cross country move for one night and we are so disappointed we couldn’t stay longer! This place is beautiful, amazing view of the lake and the staff is amazing!!! Definitely on my list of places to set as a destination to visit!!!
Beautiful scenery and perfect location for seeing the sights. We are on our 5,700 mile cross country move with our 43ft 5th wheel and a car hauling a utility trailer. They put us in a spot that has enough room for both the truck, camper, car and utility trailer with enough extra space for another car or two. Military friendly!!! Sites are BIG, the grounds are set up with camps. They have enough room here if they wanted to there could be another 50 sites but it would take away from the open field where the deer are grazing during the evening and throughout night. It gets dark here at night, you can see every star in the sky, beautiful!
Very clean, beautiful and well located camp grounds. Staff was amazing, friendly and informative. I can't say enough about our 3 day, 4 night stay at this park. Walking distance to town while still being surrounded by the trees and wilderness. It took about a 2 minute drive to get to the west entrance to Yellowstone. Definitely on my list to revisit in the future! The Roadtrippers app did lead me to a dirt parking lot, look on your gps map before you get into town and look for the entrance.
Absolutely the most beautiful campgrounds I've been to. Friendly staff with an escort to our site who help guide you into your site. Our 43ft 5th wheel has plenty of room, we even put the patio out in the back. Sunk into a little valley in the mountains right by the river and surrounded by trees and nature. Amazing!!! Only wish is that we had more time to spend here.
