Admission is $11 per person or $28 per carload (buses $50). I recommend checking out the sculptors studio for some very interesting and unexpected treasures. The history behind this monument is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. A must see if you are in the area.

Early morning or late evening are the best times to visit and view the monument, wildlife and avoid crowds. Mule deer, prairie dogs, owls, eagles, rattlesnakes and more are easily observed. A quick 1.5mile paved path around the base provided great viewing angles of the tower and surrounding vistas.
