This was a very clean and friendly campground. We used it as a base camp to go see Carlsbad Caverns. It's about 45 minutes from the caverns and 15 minutes from Carlsbad. Given the choices, this park is worth the drive. Not only is the camp friendly and accommodating but it has a nice pool, recreation room, store, and laundry facilities. Plenty of space in sites and a nice place to stay.
We are a family with 5 kids, 10 and under, traveling in a travel trailer. We stopped here for a couple nights to relax and loved it. This RV park is very convenient and peaceful. Nice level sights, great pool and playground for the kids. Lots of fishing ponds and relaxing feel about the whole place. We spent one afternoon at the water park in town and enjoyed it. We got summer rates of $25 / night so seemed like a great bargain.
