Stop by and you can eat while staring at this giant fruit. If the gate is open you can walk up and read a plaque on the structure.

We found this spot through Roadtrippers and had a great time with the ladies tasking he different moonshines. We ended up getting a jar of the pineapple and a shot of apple. They were so good! Had fun hearing about the history of the name as well.

A friend and I took a day trip out to the gardens since it’s only a out 2 hours from where we live in Augusta. The gardens are beautiful and have a beautiful range of flowers, edible plants, and forest hikes. There are also lots of beautiful spots to take pictures along your road trip. It was also free to walk around and there is a small restaurant for snacks. Highly recommend this spot!

Nice little history stop. We were there at 8:30 though so didn’t get to check out the museum I read about.
