Stayed there this October 2022, it was decent enough but would not stay again.
We were there for a week and saw several other RVers pull in and out.
The roads and turns were a little too tight for an RV park, if you have a bigger rig I’d steer clear.
The bathrooms and showers were old and decrepit, I used once and dared not go back.
Overall the staff was kind enough.
It was off season so I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but for what I paid I’d rather go somewhere else, they definitely need to lower their off season pricing.

I mean it's not Idaho but Hill Country is as close as we are going to get while in Texas! Though, if you would have told me this was in Texas I would have called you a liar... Pedernales is beautiful. We enjoying hiking and chilling by the river. If you're needing a nature day, definitely plan on coming out here

The Fitz has been amazing! We loved it from the moment we got here. Pam, the manager, is very helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This is honestly one of the most beautiful RV parks we have stayed at. The sites are nice and spacious so you don't feel cramped next to your neighbors and the premium sites have even more space. The clubhouse was a nice surprise with amazing showers, laundry, and a cool space to hangout or work in. Looking forward to when the pool and skygazing deck are complete! We absolutely love that it is out in the hill country away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but not too far that it's a pain to get there. It has plenty of attractions nearby like Padernales state park. And can we just say, we love how dark it gets at night! We love that there are no bright lights around and you can see the stars beautifully. We will definitely come back!

Stopped in for 1 night as we were passing through, not a bad RV park. Location is close enough to the city and any shopping needs. Wasn't very busy but that's to be expected in January. The sites were narrow and close together, but that's pretty normal for a KOA. Overall we enjoyed our quick stay and decent price
