This place is goofy and hilarious, even without kids to entertain. A nice place to break and get some air if you're on a long drive. As a warning, they stop selling tickets 45 minutes before closing - we got there at 5:30 thinking we'd just spend a few minutes walking through, but they wouldn't let us in for the 6pm closing time.
This place is really kitschy and dated - I mean really dated, from the menu to the hokey folk music to the young women in costumes serving you. But if that doesn't bother you, the place is actually really pleasant; decent food, good imported beer selection (both on tap and bottled), and our waitress was very friendly. If you feel a little uncomfortable being the only people under 70 in the front dining room, check out the cozy outdoor seating. I would definitely come back for the schnitzel and whatever's on tap.
We were here for breakfast and were given a limited menu, so I can't speak on the burgers; the challenges they have for prize money do sound fun. The breakfast was very bland and I received the wrong order. I didn't bother to point it out as the waitress wasn't particularly friendly. The cappuccino was full of syrup and super sweet. The location and it being 24 hours is very convenient, but beyond that I wouldn't be inclined to go back.
