We absolutely loved The Tomato Place! We were a little unsure driving up, but decided to stop because we had seen such good reviews. We were so glad we did! It’s a charming, lazy place with an unbelievable BLT!
This was a nice, clean campground. No bells and whistles, but it was an easy stop when we were passing through.
We loved watching Duck Dynasty, so it was fun to stop at Duck Commander and see the shop. We didn’t take the tour because it was fairly expensive.
We made a quick stop for lunch while we were passing through. The food was good. Our kids really enjoyed the fried jalapeño strips.
We really enjoyed our short stay at Mill Creek. It was very clean and very quiet. There are a lot of grass and trees. The kids loved the pool and exploring the life-size board games.
This was a great trip on our road trip to Austin. It has a very clean, well-done visitor’s center that tells the history of Blue Bell. You can also go to an observation to deck to see them packaging ice cream, visit the gift shop, and enjoy Blue Bell ice cream for $1 a scoop.
This is such a nice resort! It’s in a great location - in a nice, clean town close to the interstate. There are many restaurants close by. The resort is so clean and pretty. Nice little activity center, pond with fountain, pool, and rocking chairs. You won’t be sorry staying here.
Quick little stop. We actually viewed the statue from the carriage during our mule-drawn carriage ride.
Great RV park within a short drive to the French Quarter. The area around the park is industrial, and the roads to it are horrible, but the park itself is nice. It has a nice pool, great gift shop, and a restaurant (but we didn’t eat there). Sites are clean and nice looking with picnic tables.
Fun little stop with our family. Not too far off of the interstate.
