Easy walk, even for kids. Lots of skeeters! Well worth the stop. Allow about 15 minutes total.
A stunning find thanks to Road trippers. Outstanding stop, especially for children, but nice even for adults. Allow at least 45 minutes, though you will want to stay longer. Many children's book related gardens and displays. Really enjoyed this as the first stop on our road trip up north.
Very basic but nice. Stayed with two small children in a lakeside room. Comfortable and no frills for a reasonable price. Breakfast had waffles and French Toast in addition to the standard cold items. Quiet as it is set off Hwy 2. Would definitely return.
Great place to stop! After a few hours drive through some remote parts of the UP, this was the first inviting place we found. Great staff, great food. Fun little gift shop. A sandwiches /salads kind of place. Will definitely return if in the area again.
Nice, clean place at a reasonable price. Stayed with two small children in a lakeside room. Nice beach, great views, two queen beds, fridge, microwave. Discount tickets on the Star Line ferry as well. Only downside is a lot of bugs along the lake - nothing they can do about that. Would definitely come back.
Great viewing platform! Lots of steps to get down to the bottom but it is child friendly. Some steps can be slippery with the mist, but these falls are well worth the stop.
