Really cool place to stop off Route 66. It was a bit eerie after seeing the desolate shape the town is in. Otherwise, the hotel was quiet and clean. But know that the rooms are very old and extremely outdated. If you’re going just for the experience and have the time, stop by even just for a pic!
Super cute lil trinket of Seattle. I recommend putting in troll knoll park instead into a gps. Pulls you right up to under the freeway and you can park right there on the street!
This is supposedly located on La Push beach, it is closed due to COVID. You can instead go to Rialto Beach for some driftwood and beautiful beach scenery.
It’s actually huge. There’s a parking lot right in front of “trailhead” it’s about a 5 min walk on a cute trail to the tree. The lake is also lovely next to it.
Came just as the sunset! It was absolutely stunning.
The visitors center is indeed closed. But there is still parking available to walk the grounds and small trails and take in Mt. St. Helen from a very far distance.
This IS actually open, I saw it right at sunset. It was beautiful. Parking lot avail with a quick underpass walk over to the falls.
