This is a really backpacker hostel. A great vibe. When I was there I was the only people who wasn't hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, but everyone was lovely. It's well located. If you have a car offer rides to the hiker for karma points - plus where you drop them off is beautiful.
Pretty cool place. Worth a stop as you drive by.
I planed to spend 30 minutes here... 4.5h later... this place blew my mind. 200 buildings, many with original abandoned furniture in them. In 1900 it was the 3rd largest city in California and is significant historically. But also it's beautiful.
Pools were small but nice and warm. Easy to get to. Check out the Buckeye Hot springs not far away as I thought these were better.
Great camp ground. Beautiful place and very friendly helpful park rangers.
An absolutely amazing hot spring. Hot water comes over the rocks into a little pool and mixes with the cold river water. It's a steep walk down so wear real shoes. A really magical place worth the trip down a crazy dirt road.
Super beautiful. It's clothing optional but not really anyone naked. Water is cold (snow melt) but exceptionally clear.
Really well run and friendly hostel. Great bathrooms and friendly people. The location is exceptional.
Nice simple motel. Clean and well located.
Really nice parks around with flocks of geese wandering around. It's hard to see the damn side but it's pretty cool.
