I was kind of disappointed. It looks bigger online. The folks were nice and the produce looked good, but i guess i was expecting a bit more. If you’re passing by, it’s worth a look, but not worth going out of your way IMO.
If you’re going on the night tour, they said the end of May- first part of June is the best time to see the dismalites. The canyon is beautiful, but as a person who doesn’t want to miss anything, i found the map confusing. When we come next time I’ll chunk the map and just explore. Bring water shoes so you can cross the creek easily to get to both sides - some of the crossings were kind of sketchy if you didn’t want to get your feet wet- which in March, we didn’t.
Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The pool area is beautiful & though we didn’t get to use the spa on this trip, it is something we will do in the future.
We had a great morning hiking around and taking photos. We packed a lunch and had a picnic before leaving. It’s a fun, easy hike with lots to see.
