Store has undergone new ownership. Lots of changes here.
New cold drink section
New wine selection
New liquor selection
Overall the whole place has been redone.
Great little market. Tight space for very large truck and trailer.
Canyon Lodge was okay, nothing spectacular. No restaurants are open due to Covid I assume, their mask policy is very strict and there is no public amenities available other cafeteria which was quick service. The rooms are basic but beds are nice, the toiletries are a nice touch, recently redone bathrooms too. Rooms are about $500 which seems like a lot for what you get. We lay for location more than anything I guess. I understand we don’t get many options inside the park which is why we decided to stay here to get the most of our trip through Yellowstone but I’m not sure I would stay again. Also no Wi-Fi or service, pretty typical throughout the entire park. Just forewarning for those of you who may not expect that.
If you get the chance to stay here, do it. Such a cool spot! Every room is a cabin, they are so cute and laid out well. The river view is worth the extra money. It’s a quick walk downtown to explore everything. The restaurant on site was very tasty too. Staff was helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfy too. The pullout bed was much nicer than your standard couch too. Every night they light the fire pits and you can enjoy the crisp mountain air and drink wine or make s’mores by the fire. Highly recommend.
The idea of this place looked awesome. Stopped in red lodge on our way into Beartooth pass. Really wanted to like this place but it was not our cup of tea. The service was pretty slow, food was just okay. Was hoping for more since every other restaurant in town was basically a diner.
Perfect dinner spot in Bozeman. Great beer selection, decent wine selection and delicious food. Great menu and really extensive kids menu too. Staff was patient and friendly, park but was easy. Food was delicious.
Coolest little gem of a motel. The rooms are basic but clean. We truly enjoyed our stay here. They provided us with a pack and play for our baby, the beds were clean and comfy. The underground pool is awesome, they also have a fitness center and sauna. Prices are reasonable and love the history of this motel. Much cooler than your average hotel you find everywhere else.
Great stay, recently redone. The rooms were nice, we stayed at the one bedroom suite. Perfect size for our family of 5. The kitchen is well equipped for a quick stay, the bathrooms are big and the fireplace is a nice touch. Beds are super comfy too.
Great location, clean and friendly hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown. Right on the river walk, enjoyed our stay here. Their rooms are a good size, a little tight for our family but we managed. We have three kids, one who is still in a crib but they accommodated our crib needs and the pull out couch was perfect for our bigger kids. Would stay again.
Most amazing dinner and atmosphere was cute and comfortable too. We pulled into town at 7:30, checked into our hotel and walked over. We wanted something that wasn’t a chain and was near the river walk and boy did we find it. The wine and beer selection was superb, the appetizers were so flavorful and the main course was incredible. We had the stuffed mushrooms, chicken kebabs and edamame to start and the black and blue filet for dinner. The filet was cooked to perfection. It was such a nice treat to be able to have a delicious, health minded meal at the end of a long travel day. Pricing was very reasonable too. Staff was very friendly, will visit again!
