The dinosaur was cool but the museum to the left of it was amazingly cool for a small museum. You can get very close to many different exhibits and my daughters thought it was a great stop on the road trip. Worth the detour.

Kind of a neat thing to see. There are arches on all four corners of the park. A good photo op! A little buggy the day we visited but that's life!

If you like odd and interesting road trip stops, then you should take the detour to see Carhenge. There are also other metal sculptures on the grounds, but we really liked the Stonehenge tribute. Trying to visit all the weird Stonehenge-type destinations...like Foamhenge in West Virginia (loved that one too)!

You really have to see this marvel up close to appreciate what you are seeing. It's astonishing to see how big it is and the way it has eroded (naturally) to create the columns of stone. When you come into the park be sure to stop at the prairie on the left for a good pic of the tower to the north and the thousands of prairie dogs to the south. My girls found them fascinating. We hiked the 1.5 miles around the base of the tower and saw at least 10 climbers at different heights working their way to the top. Definitely worthy of the short detour and $11 to get in!

Love the history of the hotel. We stayed in The Agnes Chaimberlain room (14), one of the historically decorated rooms, and found it to be perfect for giving the family a little taste of the old west. We heard the place might be haunted so I didn't tell my daughters that tidbit until the morning... There is no better way to get two teenage girls out of bed in the morning! Our bed was a little lumpy but it was a memorable place and I would come again.

Had a great time for my first-time rodeo-goers. Bring a sweatshirt because the wind kicks up and the temp drops after the sun goes down. Sit on the north side because the wind will be at your back and you get to walk past the horses and bulls. My girls loved it!

Much more casual than I thought it would be. Kinda like a Red Robin, but not as good.

Thought it was very funny. Hilarious little signs all over the place. There is also a little zoo about a half like away that was amazing with a baby white Bengal tiger you could hold. So cool!

Hilarious experience with the kids... They were like "this is it?" Good optical illusion but it was about two hours out of our way so it might not be worth it to everyone.

About what you would expect for the price. A little run down with peeling paint and a broken bathroom door, but the price was right.
