This wasn't on our stops...but the rv park 5 miles away made it so we couldn't pass it up...fun signs and driving through a 100,000 acre cattle ranch (no fences...watch for cattle!) with an awe-inspiring easy access to viewing the best preserved crater in the world as your reward. Exceptional museum, facilities, easy parking with a travel trailer...dog "hotel"...On our road trip to the Grand Canyon, my daughter (20) claimed this was the highlight of the trip...
Cool photo op...but very difficult to stop at in an rv...we said, "Cool" and didn't get out due to traffic and no parking...not far off the main road and doable if you want a photo opp and are in a nimble vehicle.
Spectacular location and so cool to be able to climb into caves that were once living spaces for natives...cool glimpse into the past

Worth the admission- very cheap! Lots of information for those who want to stay awhile...and snippets and pics for those with shorter attention spans! A good amount of photo ops for the "been there done that's"...
