Cool road trip stop, some good photo ops, interesting 10 minute video if you ask and a great view at the end :)
Super cute 50s diner! Be sure to check out the diner-saurs in the back!
The views on the way in (the thickest Joshua tree forest!) and the way out (volcanic ash) were great - the depot is cool to see and is air conditioned. Cafe closed for refurbishment today. Park participates in the junior ranger program. It's a long drive but fun!
We loved it - definitely worth going. You can drive through as many times as you want for the same price. Free guided bus tour also. Be sure to walk around wildlife area at the end of the tour to see the beaver, porcupines, baby Cubs and more. Brand new gift shop!
Our family LOVED it - definitely worth the drive and cost. Up close to lots of cool animals and you can pay $5/cup to feed a few types of animals.
