I would give Shady Grove 10 stars if they would let me! Lovely people who really care about your experience with them. Yes the price is super reasonable, but don't let it fool you. Quality comes in many forms. If you find yourself in eastern Colorado, stay a night. Or two. or twelve.
Eh, it was just alright...if you were just camping like I was. It was right at the beginning of Summer so it was wayyyy hot, and it was right off a major road so there was lots of traffic noise. Lots of amenities though: pool, shower, general store (which I suppose justified the priceyness to just camp).
Beautiful. Just a short trip from the highway on a windy, two lane road, you find yourself surrounded by gorgeous hills with the small, no-frills campsite tucked inside. Get up early to see the sunrise hit the horizon and you won't be disappointed.
