A must see if you are in Denver. Such a pretty area!
Go, go, go! Seriously, what are you waiting for? Go now! This place could not be any cooler or more beautiful. 100% worth a trip. I would definitely go back!
Hands down one of the coolest places I've EVER been, and I've been all over the place. However, DO NOT do this drive in a car. I drove my Chevy Cobalt, and I am lucky to have made it out without any blown tires. It is a ROCK road to get into the place (not gravel, full on rocks... I went like 2 mph). If you have an SUV or truck though, don't pass up this stop! It's like being on another planet! I would love to come back again in the future a little more prepared with GPS to navigate as there are no trails and a better suited vehicle.
I 100% recommend this place! Very cool stop with beautiful views!
If you're driving through this way, it's 100% worth a stop. Absolutely gorgeous park! I wouldn't go out of your way to come here though.
Incredibly weird and mysterious looking piece of land. There is a huge fence around it, but there is a spot you can crawl under to enjoy it better and get some good pictures! Be safe though, as the fence is up for a reason. Lots of snakes find their home here, and there are places you could accidentally fall.
I would definitely give this 5 stars had the road to get there not been so awful. They are currently doing construction to an already not so great road (hopefully they are paving it!) so I would not recommend for anyone in a car to do this drive. I was in a Chevy Cruze and totally did not feel like I should have been driving on that road (couldn't turn around because I was following a pilot truck through the construction one way only). Well worth it though. The bridge was so cool! Do be mindful of snakes though, as I almost stepped on one near the bridge.
Definitely go here! It's beautiful! I've been twice now and would 100% go back again!
Very cool spot! I couldn't believe the rocks were just randomly in the middle of KS. Would have given 5 stars had the place not been overrun by crazy attack bugs that nest in the ground... (my only thoughts were yellow jackets). I would say go here early spring or late fall when the bugs are not around!
