Went to this place after visiting "Hamtramck Disneyland" just a few blocks away. We stumbled over "Artistic Pirates" homestead alley where these individuals, some would call them hopeless artists, take the plight of a struggling Michigan suburb and try to create a place where upcycling and steampunk is looked at in a very surreal way. We were fortunate enough to get a personal inside tour from one of the artist and residents of one of the homes and it was something that I have never seen before!!!!
