Warning, open to the public from May 1st to September 30th. As of 2018 cost is $10 per adult. That being said when my husband and I arrived in early April the two charming ladies waiting for a s book group opened up the museum baseboards the cook house and bunk room. This is a wonderful place to visit, the number of original artifacts in the buildings is impressive. I really loved the attention to detail in the museum, for example there were detailed instructions on how to darn socks! .
