The World Bird Sanctuary was quite a nice surprise! It isn't necessarily a long experience, but combined with neighboring Lone Elk Park it was a beautiful morning's activity with just the right mix of education and adventure!
There is obviously no guarantee that the animals will be out and about, but increase your odds of seeing them by arriving early in the day. 8am we saw numerous elk and half a dozen bison today. It was a beautiful park and well worth the trip!
Make a reservation. The pavilion is beautiful and informative but not overwhelming!
Lovely small church near many sights. Beautiful statuary. Daily evening masses.
The hotel is beautiful and the ducks were amusing. It's a short experience but an opportunity to check out a gorgeous hotel for free!
Enormous and lovely park with excellent facilities. It seems fairly new but with lots in the works!

The tour was really interesting and informative, but be advised that it is quite noisy, and dusty.
This is a nice clean rest area. Welcome center is open during business hours only but maps are available in dispensers at the door. There are lots of photo ops for your "we made it to Florida" shots.
