Dated HIE. Mystery wet spot on carpet upon check in. Green pool. We slept decent and the breakfast was good. The hot water and water pressure were on point though. The best shower we've had this week and this is our sixth day on the road. Pet friendly for a higher fee than other HIE in nearby states which was a little annoying considering how old everything was. Right off the 81 and near fast food/gas stations. The Quality Inn right next door looks nicer and newer.
Nice, quiet HIE right off I-40. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was average. Would have loved another fruit option as they only had three apples. Sausage and eggs were getting a little tough but it was 45 minutes to closing. Pancake machine was nice! Pool was clean and nice temperature. They had only one washer and dryer so we had to wait awhile to do laundry but it was right next to the pool so there's that. :) The best part was the fact that there are a lot of well manicured grass areas for you dog. We were able to walk the dog around the entire hotel and the grass was poop free and mowed. We were able to park our truck and trailer easily. Would recommend especially with pets.
We loved our stay so much, we wish we had stayed another night. We got in late but we had enough time to enjoy the awesome pool. Our kids (ages 5, 3 and 18 months) really enjoyed the splash pad, water guns etc. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice. Lots of room and grass to run our dog. The breakfast was typical of HIE. This is really one of the best HIE properties we've stayed at. Lots of truck and trailer parking too. Walmart and other restaurants near by!
Many hotels were booked the night we stayed in Gallup but we were pleased with our stay despite not being our first choice. This no frills hotel had plenty of parking for our trailer. Room was clean and quiet. Room was small but plenty of outside area to take dog out. Breakfast was decent but very small dining area. Gas station and Denny's right next door.
Hotel is dated and could use some updating including the bathroom, however, we stayed in a pet friendly room which was clean, quiet and with easy access to take the dog out. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We have a uhaul so we were pleased that we could order food for delivery.
