Suburban neighborhood. Not sure it's worth the stop/drive by.
Only got to stop and take pictures as It was closed today. Pretty random but cool place from far away
Really cool building! Worth the stop. Take time to check out all the monuments and memorials of those fought on past wars.
Update: it's on the side of the rt 60 (no need to go into the town). Address is ab 1mi off. Drove by it at 60mph
If you're skipping going up to the top, you don't really need to buy tickets to access the building. No one checked. Plus you don't have to bother w the time scheduled; it's more of a guideline than a rule.
There a few movies within the arch that play every 45min that last 30min. There are also 2 trams (north and south) to access the top, go around to the south (shorter line) since every one that passes thru security gets dumped at the north.
Prepare to walk a distance around the construction to the far side where the visitors center is until the park is completed.
Head towards the end of the road down by the Best Western. Pretty neat stop! Thankful it was well light since we stopped at night. Cool spot to stretch out the legs on a roadtrip
