Stunning & awesome photo opportunities. Particularly liked the "Time Capsule" gorge carved through the rocks. Plenty of washrooms here & easy to travel trails/paths.
Pleasantly surprised! We had a wretched experience at a Super 8 in Thunder Bay so we were apprehensive about staying at this one. Our fears were unfounded; this place was clean, well laid out, had a large number of TV subscription channels, and comfortable beds. Internet was fast. Continental breakfast was good providing pancakes, cereal, fruit, toast/bagels, juice/tea/coffee. Plenty of shopping & restaurants nearby. Was only an overnight stay so can't tell you more.
Oh... and DO NOT order fried chicken from a place called Diane's Kitchen; it was horrible (there is a Popeyes 3 blocks away that is far superior!)

Disappointing. Place is now called the Rodeway Inn. We booked 2 weeks in advance specifically asking for a main floor room as we have a person with mobility issues. Arrived at 10 pm only to be given a room on the 2nd floor with no elevator & no other rooms available. While our room was clean & a good size, the beds were hard & lumpy - I had to bring in a foamy from the car to sleep on as the bed was causing me back pain otherwise. Our window shade also wouldn't close properly allowing in morning light when we wanted to sleep. Continental Covid breakfast was OK consisting of cereal, toast, apples/oranges, packaged muffin, juice & coffee. Was just an overnight stay so can't really tell you anything more.
Room was a decent size & beds sufficiently comfortable. The hot tub/spa was drained and the pool had a whole bunch of stuff stored at one end making that aspect of it unappealing. Was an OK place to spend an overnight in but I personally wouldn't want to spend more time than that there.
Definitely worthwhile & far superior to the Super 8 which was a disaster for us.
Pros: We had pool side rooms with a small patio space. Pool was open without reservations until 5 pm. Has a huge water slide, large swimming pool, wading pool, & hot tub/spa (which we spent a lot of time in). You are entitled to 5 pool passes for guests. There is also an exercise room just off the pool area, showers & towels, & a restaurant available poolside. During evenings people reserve the pool for parties & such so lots of activity from 5 until 10 pm. Bathroom was a bit difficult to negotiate due to it's small size. Lots of stores & restaurants nearby (walking distance) so lots of choices for eating and such nearby. Close to the airport, buses, etc. No smoking allowed in rooms.
Cons: My bed sagged somewhat where people typically sit on it so it did cause me back pain each night. There was no continental breakfast. My biggest issue tho was the crossbar hidden under the bed skirt that stuck out 1/8" right at ankle height. I struck my ankle 3X on one breaking skin & causing bruising/swelling. My partner struck her ankle 2X. I left a complaint about this with the front desk in Aug 2021 so hopefully they fix this issue.
This hotel was VERY busy each of the 10 days we stayed there with the parking lot being full each night. Due to their awesome pools, this is a destination spot for many local people each evening.
Disappointing as they cancelled the Continental Breakfast due to Covid & the pool was closed for renovations/repairs. Wish they would have indicated both of these when we were booking as we would have stayed elsewhere. Otherwise the beds were relatively comfy & the lamps had USB ports for charging phones, etc.
If flowers & statues are your thing then you'll probably enjoy this very much. Was nice to look at & stroll through but since I was only here for the benefit of another who wanted photos, I didn't appreciate it as much as an enthusiast would.
VERY NICE hotel! Beds were comfy, room attractive & spacious with a nice bathroom. Continental breakfast was awesome with a nice assortment. Parking had electric plugins & EV chargers. Alas we were only there for an overnight stay so can't tell you much more.
Was OK for an over-night stay. Beds were comfortable though room was a bit small. Don't really have much more to say as we arrived at 1 am & checked out next morning by 10 am so didn't have much of a chance to experience it.
