Great for kids and adults and an awesome effort to preserve the heritage history of the town of Eau Claire. Everything was very well done, displayed and put together!
Cute cheesy photo opportunity. We stayed just down the road at the Madison KOA so the Pink Elephant was a cool en route experience.
Showers and bathrooms are very well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Due to our travel plan we were scheduled to arrive to the site after hours. The staff gave us a call about mid day to make sure we knew where to find our information packet when we arrived, and tell us everything else we should need so that we had a comfortable stay. We were tent camping, and although the tent sites are very open, there is plenty of space per site, and the grass is very well maintained, extremely lush and cushiony, you could nearly sleep straight on the ground!
Beautiful camp ground! We tent camped and the site was super reasonable ($30). We were even allowed to drive around first to pick which site we liked the most. The bathrooms and showers were very clean! The sites are spacious enough. The only downside was that, as we stayed on a momday night, they were out of firewood from the weekend. But the drive in to town for more was only about 7 mins down the road.
