Spent 2 weeks here. Staff was great. Site was great. Plenty of room. Wifi was not working due to still being down from hurricane 2 years earlier though. All redone and like new (pool, office, etc.)
Nice friendly place to visit. Will definitely return. Be warned, it has its name for a reason :)

Excellent KOA. Staff was really wanting their next KOA award and they were working hard for it! They went out of their way to assist everyone more than any place we stayed. Great amenities that were extremely clean and very well maintained. We used this as a way point, but when it is time for a longer Williamsburg vacation, we'll definitely choose here.
Very relaxing out of the way. Friendly staff. Had some extra field activities (e.g. badminton, covered ping-pong outside, etc.) Great views, good site size. Excellently maintained. A hidden gem.
Fun rail ride. Quaint town nice for some main street type shopping.
Tiniest site we ever have come across. Couldn't open the awnings all the way due to overrun of next site on one side and a tree on the other (normally you can pull forward/backwards around tree obstacles, but it was /that/ tiny you couldn't). Barely enough room for a picnic table which was 2 feet from neighbors septic. Gross! Fire ring was 3-5ft from the road. Asphalt pull in was so unlevel it caused the one hydraulic to overextend. Not relaxing. Staff was friendly and had nice trail heads and movie in the park though.

Overrun with frackers. Appearance more like a long term trailer park than relaxing KOA. In addition, they messed up the checkin/checkout time so someone had to wait for us to pack up and leave, instead of just giving them a different site (not like they were full). On top of treating them like that, the staff acted discussed with us and acted like it was our fault when we were not ready to leave hours before our checkout because they messed up.
