This place is truly magical. We did the gorge trail, and didn't really feel like it was a rugged journey, since most of the areas with stairs are in short bursts, and there is plenty of time to recover should you need a rest. The most difficult part of the hike was at the very end, climbing the final hill. So many gorgeous falls, and lovely photo opportunities.
Clifty is truly a beautiful place to spend some time. There are several trails to choose from, with varying difficulty levels for all hikers. We go as often as we can.
So beautiful! We went to Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, & Old Man's Cave. All were gorgeous, and the trails were easy to navigate.
This hotel left a lot to be desired. It also delivered the most disappointing hotel breakfast we've ever eaten. The pancake maker was broken, there was no fruit, the biscuits were dry, and the attendant didn't seem interested in refilling the gravy which was empty almost the entire time we were eating. I wouldn't stay here again.
Very clean, and the staff was very friendly too.
We tried to go see it, but it was a residential area. No sculptures.
