Rocks bigger than a house- amazing to see
Nothing extraordinary - subway or a burger place to eat. Looks like they are under construction for much of the building -March 2020. Bought some $10 t-shirts and bumper stickers. Convenience store, gas and restroom and went on our way.
Friendly staff. They gave my kids cute Amarillo pins for their backpacks. Quiet stay. Nice clean room. Bed was a firmer than I would have preferred but overall nice stay.
Quick off the highway photo stop. Nostalgic snd meaningful. Kids loved it and we took a bunch of pictures there. ❤️
Very much worth going a few minutes off the highway to stretch your legs. So many houses and relics to see and a wonderful lady to answer questions. Stop, walk around and visit this historical site. Jose Antonio Navarro was one of the signers if the Texas Declaration of Independence. Admission $5 adults $3 kids. Well worth our small donation to keep history alive.
