Great little day trip. Paved path, playground... beautiful and packed with history. We went with our teens and their nana. Great trail for my mom. Also, the restaurant was a great lunch stop, good gluten free food along with excellent service.
This is a whole day trip. Pack a lunch and enjoy the outdoor art. Amazing museum with way more then just local history. They offer a kid area. However, more appreciate by older kids 8 up. It is very big and there is a lot to see, little would likely get board.
Amazing! Hot steep walk but totally worth it. My kids are good hikers, it was really hot they were complaining on the way up but when they got there and enjoyed the view not a single complaint after. Well worth 2-3 hours of your life. Breath taking!
Not worth it. We didn't even bother paying the steep price to go in. Very run down. Big disappointment.
We almost didn't stop here so to some negative reviews. We loved this stop it was one of our trip highlights. Not just a whole in the ground. There is a museum and an information Video . Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this stop.
Amazing! I would love to go back when you can see the bats. Where good shoes. I wish we would have planned to stay here longer. We saw most of it but if you are really into geology this is a whole day trip not half.
There is allot to see and hear especially if your a history buff. We did the car tour and paid for the audio which I feel was well worth it. Our two kids enjoyed it however they were getting a bit bird by the end. I was still well entertained. They loved the museum and the ship was way cool!
Beautiful place, less trails were open in the spring but plenty to enjoy. Arrive really early..4-5am if you'd like to camp in the park. Other wise good luck. We spent 2 full days there hiking trails. I do wish we would have had one more day to do trails on the other side of the main park.
There are some hot springs near by that are more modern, nicer. However, this place has better prices, excellent customer service, little less busy. We have enjoyed swimming here and camping.
A little off the path but totally worth it. Amazing
