Old world charm! This is my second time here and this time I got even better room with private courtyard! The place is in a large house with nice furniture, some of it antique, nice garden and covered area with the huge fireplace, which was working the last time here.
We have visited quite a few hotels in Guadalajara, during the years and this one is a real gem.
Thumbs up!
A bit smaller bedroom than in a Best Western but there is a sitting room with the TV, sofa and a few chairs. Bathroom is the best so far!
Location is not so great, far away from everything. However price is good. Few bucks more than Motel 6 and still less than Diamondhead which is looking like a dump after BW and Country Inn and Suites.
Thumbs up!
Gave full 5 because of the two previous hotels/motels, that I booked on this trip. They can not even compare in cleanliness, finishes and overall look of the room. Bathrooms will not be even mentioned. In Motel 6 I haven't taken the shower because it was so bad and in the other one I had to force myself to go in. I was surprised that I had to pay less than I have paid in Diamond Head Inn and Suites! Great place and the price includes the breakfast! Tums up!
Had to come to Diamond Head since there was no space in Biloxi and since I had a bad experience with the bathroom in motel 6 Decided to "splurge" on the lodging! Paid double, got almost nothing for it. A bit better bath, bed is not as comfortable as it was in 6 - cleanliness is comparable. Not recommended for this price!
It's not the Days inn anymore! It's motel 6! They are renovating, which is a overdue anyway! Outdated room with a cracked ceiling. No coffee machine, just a small microwave and a small fridge - empty:-)
which is fine. I usually do not use anything from those. Beds are comfy and look clean, carpets need the replacement and the thing that really needs the reno is the bathroom!
It's close to hwy and I will have to see if the noise is going to keep me awake:-)
Otherwise not bad... Price is right having in mind that bathroom. However, they are renovating so it might be OK when done
As it often happens, first looks are deceiving. Place is located some 17 miles from the Bryce Canyon not 4.6 as advertised on some of the sites. God forsaken township of Cannonville... However even though the building looks... well like it looks - Room is quite clean, bathroom is renovated and all and all - not bad! One thing! Room smell like moth balls?! Internet was a problem at first but it's working now. Not sure if I will be able to get anything for breakfast since it is Sunday and they work only from 7 to 9, where in the next village they store that I went in to - will be open only from 2pm to 4 pm?! Go figure....
Biggest problem that I am facing on this trip beside the FOOD which is awful in rural America... Fast food is everywhere, people here are doomed... Any way, gas stations are so scarce - at least on the roads that I took AND this thing with ZIP CODE when you want to fill up?! Who came with that stupid idea?! There are people from other countries visiting USA and all the beautiful places that it offers....ZIP CODE?!?! So dumb!
Nice Hotel, nothing extraordinary. Close to Starbucks - which is quite important for my mornings:-)
Secure parking which was important for me on this trip. It was an issue for me to find the place since my GPS was acting strangely! Other issue is the traffic in Monterray! It was quite an ordeal getting to the destination.
In the evening they had a promotion in the bar that they have on premises - free drink - which I welcomed after driving for so many hours!
Breakfast was OK - as in any other hotel.
Had to stay here since I couldn't park my car in Hilton! With the roof cargo they are 8" high and they can not go in to regular garages! Marriot has a parking few blocks away. It's a bit expensive but you can bargain!:-)
Valley will however kill you at the end -$30.00 per night!!! US!!!
I however had to do it so....Nice rooms, close to, actually, on the River. Two blocks from Alamo so close to all the things that I wanted to see for these few hours in St. Antonio
Room not bad just the smell when you walk in -it smell like someone smoked in it ?!
All together good for one night. Most importantly Star Bucks is close by for that morning coffee before going on the road!
Relatively nice room, odd smell of ?tobacco" or something. Most importantly close to Star Buck for morning coffee before the next part of the road!
