This was a great quick stop on our roadtrip. There were very few people and it was a cool water/geologic feature.
The Riverhouse has epic views and the food to match. This was some of the best BBQ I have ever had. There is inside and outside seating with view over the river. Great place to stop and recharge with great views, great environment, and some of the best food you have ever had!
We enjoyed the caverns. It is not as complex as many other caverns we have been to but the main chamber is very impressive. It is very impressive when they light it up.
This was an excellent hotel at a good price. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast and the staff was excellent. The hotel is a little out of the way which made for a quieter stay. I would avoid the Wyndham Rewards program. They have not given us credit for any of our stays even months after our vacation.
This was one of the highlights from our Arkansas trip. The formations were amazing and the Devils Icebox was very cool (literally.) Great park to spend a full day in.
The area was very dirty. There was quite a bit of trash on the ground. This was not a very kid friendly area either. Our 7 year old did not like it. The Arkansas state parks were much better.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly. My daughter enjoyed feeding the ducks on the lake and the pool area was clean. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast and our room was clean. Don't bother with Wyndham. We have not received credit for any of our stays during our weeklong trip.
This church was absolutely beautiful. Great place for a short stop to have a look around and stretch your legs. Go have a seat and clear your mind for a few before you head down the road.
This place was a blast! We loved it. The drive through the park had something to look at for the entire route. The petting zoo at the end had bags of feed for $1. Their prices were great. My daughter did the camel ride after the petting zoo. It was only $5. Great way to spend a couple hours with the family.
Beaver Dam is a beautiful and well maintained lake and dam area. We spent the day swimming at the rock shored beaches. The water temperature was perfect with a steady breeze. There was a decent amount of people on the lake and beach but not crowded. The dam overlook is well worth the drive to get an overlook of the dam and lake. The only complaint I have is the bathroom in the beach area were basically a hole with an open toilet on top that would gag a maggot. Besides that it is well worth the trip out. There is a $5 charge for a day pass at the park and the rangers are patrolling and issuing tickets for not having your pass displayed.
