My kids loved it, but it really is just Dino statues. No real playground equipment. But is a beautiful view and a gift shop.

A beautiful visit. We took the boat across Jenny lake and hiked to hidden falls and inspiration point. Definitely pack water. Plenty of places to picnic as well, so pack a lunch.

It was a lovely stay. We booked the teepee. Was clean, roomy, facilities nearby. The view at night was gorgeous. They were having a bit of a heat wave, so it got hot during the day, but chilly at night. There was a fan and plugs in the teepee.

A MUST stop if you are in the area. The site lists it as closed, but it was definitely open and we arrived around 9:30am. It’s was like something out of a twisted fairytale. Just wonderful. It’s a quick stop, about 30 minutes for us, but you could spend more time there. It has a picnic table and bathroom, outhouse really, if you are cool with that. It’s gorgeous with the river running in the back and bunnies everywhere. The driveway was tricky, it’s right on the corner once you pass Costco.

Skip the visitor center and park closer to the rocks. It is quite beautiful. I brought my two kids 6 and 5, it was a lot of walking for them, so I recommend packing water and knowing where the bathroom is on the trail. Saw some wildlife and lovely plant life. Walk it first, then go to the visitor center of you still have the energy.

Stopped here today. Great stop if you have the chance to do it. 20$ to the top, weren’t accepting cash just cards. But they did accept National Park Pass. About 1.5 hour stop if you want to walk the area. There is a trail around the top of the monument and one leading to crater. It was chilly and overcast when we went, beginning of July.

Beautiful little stop, BUT be sure to bring boots. It is muddy and if it rains it’s a pond. We brought our own spray as well, but they have cans laying around that still have some in it.

This was our first stop on the trip. Was super cute little place. The see-through bathrooms were clean and just so neat to use. It’s a small square with giant checkers and chess to play as well as a splash area for the kids so have a swimsuit ready. We picked up sandwiches from the Plain and Fancy sandwich shop. They were decent. Are while the kids played. There is also a little free library in the area to pick up or leave a book for your travels.
