You can drive up, or take the tram (the tram is pretty fun, with some neat views on the way). Beautiful view from the top, and the place where "America the Beautiful" was penned. It's not hard to see why the song was inspired by this beautiful view. It can be cold at the top, so bring a coat, even in the summer.

Nothing really left to see here, as so many people have taken samples that there is hardly any obsidian left, and the trails close to it have been closed.

Massive tourist trap, though it is fun to say you've stood in four states at once.

Absolutely stunning hike, that is far better than Antelope Canyon in Arizona. No tourists here, and you will be completely alone. In order to reach this canyon you MUST cross private property. PLEASE contact the owners before hand, or at least knock on their door to ask permission. They are already becoming hesitant to let people through because they have had troubles with hikers harassing their livestock/trashing things.
The trail loop consists of Lower and Upper Red Cave, both of which are incredible beautiful. Bring lots of water, if you want to do the full loop, small down-climbs are required. You are all alone out here, so don't do anything stupid. Unique wild-life to be seen if you're lucky (I encountered a bobcat cub out here).

Beautiful views, but the atmosphere can pretty easily be shattered by all the drunk college kids camping out.

Very short loop trail with some neat geological information along it. Decent spot to stop and stretch for a bit on a long trip.

Absolutely gorgeous view, with literally no effort required (you can drive to the top).

A beautiful little park, though it feels a bit too manicured. Great place to take kids, with several short hikes!
