Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel and I basically live out of hotels due to my job. Some of their employees stole upwards of $800 worth of stuff from my room. Even if that were not the case it wasn't very clean, breakfast was terrible, and showers didn't drain. I would rate it negative stars if I could. If you know what's good for you, you won't go here! It's Worth the extra 50 bucks or so to book anywhere else in Carlsbad!
