Absolutely HUGE! Super impressive exterior & worth the drive to see it. I would love to come on a warm, sunny day & have a picnic on the vast grounds. I showed up on an extremely cold Monday though - so it was closed & we didn't want to stay out too long. I hear the Athena statue inside is amazing too.
This place is gorgeous! The gnomes are cheesy, but it's still well worth the admission place if you like gardens...or rocks. If I lived closer, I'd get an annual pass. For those of you with dogs, they have trash cans along the trail. You just may have to hang onto that poo bag for a while before you see one.
Quick stop & small walk out to the peanut. There's a sausage / fruit / gift shop right beside it that looks cool. It's closed on Sunday's though, so I didn't get to go in.
