This was a great little motel! Comfortable bed, clean room, and a great little picnic table to sit and watch the sunset. We will definitely stop here again!
We stopped for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. I had the buffalo chicken strips and they were fantastic-all white meat, lightly breaded, and dipped in their own handmade wing sauce. I’d go back for them! Connie waited on us, and gave us lots of good tips for the rest of our trip. She was awesome!
The Hotel was great. We stayed in the Rita Hayworth room with our own private balcony. It was beautiful, just like Rita! Comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The hotel service was top notch. Leroy was especially helpful.
Even if you don’t stay here, stop in for the gift shop. They sell lots of authentic Native American jewelry, pottery, and Navajo rugs. We watched a woman weaving a small rug in the lobby the night we arrived. It was beautiful, intricate work. This is high quality, so be prepared to pay what it’s worth. But it is worth it.
We stayed at the hotel and had drinks at the 49er, and dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The food was okay, but the eggs and steak were over cooked. The Mexican dishes were great.
We just took an 8 day road trip through 9 states, and this was definitely the best breakfast of the trip! Nothing fancy, but eggs, hash browns and bacon were perfectly cooked and the service was friendly. We were the only non-locals (far as we could tell), and the place was busy. We’d go back!
We stopped for lunch on our way through town. Burger & BLT were fantastic, and the fries were outta sight! True diner delights.
I also loved that Robert is the guy running it, with help from his teenage son. Lots of locals came in while we were there, which tells me it’s a good place.
