Very neat. Long dirt roads to the site, but not many tourists. We went in August, make sure you bring plenty of water.
Great site, clean campground. Bathrooms did get a lot of bugs at night. Friendly family owned and operated. Beautiful area! Good price and amenities.
Go late enough that you can see in the daylight, the sunset and the night show. We didn’t end up having to pay for parking.
We likely would find a different campground if we go back to the area. Road was rough getting in. Bathroom was fairly clean but definitely needs new shower curtains. Picnic tables were small and rickety. We reserved a pull threw and got a back-in. Way overpriced and they charge for all extras, including me sleeping in the back of my truck parked in our camper site even though we’d already paid per person and were not taking any more room.
You need to make reservations in advance which we were not aware of so we missed out on the dinosaur dig. Also, if you use Roadtrippers to navigate to this location you will not find it.
Not terrible, small and bathrooms are just outhouses. Right off the highway. We only stayed one night.
