Beautiful and well maintained park! It is located in the tourism district in west Yellowstone and is very close to the park.
We camped here with or rv and found that every site was very spacious with room for chairs around a fire pit placed on gravel, and an extra space on each site for a tent (or whatever you want to put there) the paved trails were great for walking my dogs and the staff was very friendly. We had a blast searching for diamonds as well!
This is a great park! This was our first stop on our trip. They have a really fun water slide that burnt my kids out, and nice paved sites. The only downside is that if you come in with an rv at night, there are massive ditches surrounding most sites. It is right on the lake and is absolutely beautiful. We were there on the 4th of July and they really put on a fantastic show!
So neat to see in person! A great gift shop, a tour we didn’t have the time for, and just a fun place to explore if you’ve ever watched the show! Also we didn’t know so we parked ours down the street, but they do have parking for RVs! :)
