A must! Taking the drive and see the wildlife up close. We saw ten gators right out the window

This is where the cruise ships dock. Not much here, no shopping. But fun to see the big ships come in.

Love De Leon sprigs and the sugar mill restaurant. Maybe off the beaten path, but in my book that's a good thing. After several days at the beach, the spring is a welcome relief, clean, clear, fresh water. no crowds, good cheap food. I mean all you can eat pancakes for 5 bucks per person plus an amazing experience to boot! Bring googles or a mask and enjoy. It's about relaxing. Recommend for he family young and old

Wonderful place to stay with kids. The staff is great, pool is perfect, with hot whirlpool. My kids said it was the most beautiful hotel they have been in (they are well traveled and been in several Disney resort hotels). something about this order hotels is very charming! well done! Thanks for a great stay!

Sorry Holiday Inn but I have to mark you down for this Inn for the following reasons: #1 No complimentary breakfast (yeah this is a big deal!). #2 slow (no) Internet in rooms, #3 Pool closed, (I know it happens), #3 Curtains didn't close all the way, even a crack is to much light.

The viewing of the Manatee is great! A nice wooden walkway follows the stream (spring run) and you can view the Manatee all along the walk. At the end the spring runs into the St. John's river, where you can canoe. It seems to be popular so arrive early. We camped for three nights. The campsite or nice but be forewarned: expect a train to roll past in the middle of the night blowing it's horn (that's why I gave it 4 stars). Not much else in the area.
