hi - just spent 2 great days camping at Deer Hollow. I really enjoyed the mix of peace and quiet with more civilized options. The Visitor Center was beautiful with great displays and the young woman on the desk was very personable. I was disappointed, however, not to see more recycling containers throughout the park and especially in the camp area. When I tried to find them as I was leaving, I couldn't and as a result, I have a bag full of recyclables in my car in Regina. Given the park's dedication to preserving the wilderness and designation as a Dark Sky preserve (awesome!) I would have expected to see more recycling - differentiated bins for plastics, cardboard, and organics - not just refundable bottles and cans. Just a suggestion for improving a fantastic and beautiful outdoor experience! Thanks- Sharon Malone, Maple Ridge, BC.
