Good food, nice folks, easy-going
A truly giant cow in a breathtaking location with picnic tables. What more could you want?
OK, some "world's largest" statues are, well, underwhelming in their magnitude. This one is really big.
Good prices. Large, clean, quiet rooms in a solid building
Right off the freeway and a great photo op. Note: location given in Road trippers is a few blocks off. Statue is next to the school
A lot of fun and even though it's mostly a drive-through zoo, you do get some sense of intimacy with rhe animals. The "babyland" exhibit was enchanting and the critters seemed happy.
Outstanding collection of historical instruments (I think it's the largest in the U.S.). Great information and contextual displays, free audio tour resources (important for a music museum, eh?). A beautiful museum and a Must-See for all who are interested in acoustic or electric music (classical, jazz, military, blues especially) or instrument making.
Accomodating, reasonable, rooms are spacious enough and clean. Has restaurant, bar, laundry.
Great location, easy to work with, and accommodating.
Lovely staff-owners, nice cabins, fair prices, peaceful-quiet setting. What's not to love?
