Excellent views! Try to time your trip so that you aren't driving after dark, and watch out for deer. We drove around dusk and we wish we would have started just a half hour earlier so we could have seen the views in the daytime as well as at sunset. I also have a feeling this view would be great at sunrise, as many of the overlooks face east!
Our tour guide wasn't the best and the tour itself was a little pricey ($26 per adult for an hour) but the Dream Lake, Wishing Well, and Stalagpipe Organ made our trip worthwhile.
We loved the Dolley Madison tour! A good overview of Madison with a focus on the women in his life. Make sure you stop by the current archaeology site or the archaeology center as the archaeologists are great at answering questions and/or telling you about their work!
