This was a great experience! There was a volunteer out there providing up with information about the Elephant Seals. They even have their own webcam. I would highly recommend visiting the Seals.
I was disappointed in my room. It has been recently painted but the sheet had large cigarettes burns on them and the mattress had stains on it. The carpet needs to be vacuum. They made the effort to paint the rooms so the company should have replaced the dirty pillows, sheets with holes, stained mattresses etc.
Just a short visit to Salem and stopped here while walking the Red Line!! Really enjoyed the food and the server, Kara, is great!! We had the egg sandwich with bacon. Very good. We also had the bacon dumplings, which were good but would have been better if served with a little maple syrup. Thank you!!!
This is a great place to eat. The staff is friendly and the food is great!
When driving to this hotel be sure to pay close attention to find Roberta street. If you turn too soon you will be driving yourself back on the interstate. Make sure to drive past the Marriott sign next to the Holiday sign by the house. Also you will see cows in a field across from the hotel parking lot. It is a nice hotel.
A geocache used to be located here. The business owners are nice.
Training at Camp Shelby in the summer months is terrible. .
I have not visited the watermelon patch but I did take a picture by the large watermelon. Sole Sisters shoe store is also by the large watermelon.
