Honestly, this was my favorite hotel on my road trip. It was fun to stay in a wigwam, but it was also a nice clean little room.
This place was a little aged, very campy, and totally awesome! Judging by the pictures I saw of this place before I went, it seems that there is some work going into this place. I thought it was kind of cool, but my six-year-old daughter LOVED it. We went to so many places on our road trip, but she won't stop talking about Bedrock City. So, if you have some young ones, definitely stop hear. Or, if you just love the Flintstones or quirky places, then this is the place to stop.
I'm glad I stopped here. Zettlers had a wonderful variety of things to shop for from route 66 souvenirs, Native American art, a great selection of vinyl records, and lots of other cool antiques. The shop was very clean and well displayed and the owner was very friendly.
This theater is beautiful inside! This old theater is now owned by Disney and they make it shine like it is brand new again. There is a beautiful, one of a kind, Wurlitzer organ that plays before the show, so, get there early. We watched Cars 3 here and they also had a special dance show before the movie started. I bought my tickets from their website a month early, but it was worth it. We were able to select the center seats in the upper balcony for the best view in the house! The VIP tickets are a higher price than you are use to paying but you get popcorn, a drink, and a unique show you won't find anywhere else!
This hotel is off the highway far enough to where you won't hear it. It is very clean and nicely decorated. There is a great pool area and lounge with a fire pit. They also have a great, well stocked, free breakfast.
Fun little stop. They had a few photo spots like the world's biggest box of raisins, a huge Sun-Maid girl, and a raisin box cut-out you can stick your face through. Also, a cool store with a big variety of Sun-Maid products - perfect for a long road trip snack!
