Having missed out on the real stonehenge on my trip to Europe, I insisted we check this out on our road trip. It was worth stopping briefly. It didn't seem like there was anywhere to park, so we just pulled over on the road (there was a driveway that led straight to it but it looked like it was someone's house). If you're in a hurry, it's honestly not worth finding (we got a bit turned around), but if you're on a leisure drive you might as well check it out just to say you've been here.

We had no idea what we we'd see here, but we saw the sign on the highway and decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised! It was certainly an interesting place to visit, even if you're not a history buff. We enjoyed checking out the sites, reading the story of the location, and just being in a place of history. This was definitely one of our favorite random stops.

This was a great place to take a break while driving the length of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Granted, we stopped near midnight and it was pitch black, but what we saw (with our flashlights!) was definitely worth the stop. It's open 24 hours and there is also a clean public restroom.
