One of my favourite places to visit with my family, and never fails to entertain my son who goes with us or his grandparents at least a few times a year. Tons of stuff to see. I've been there at least two dozen times in my life and I always find something new to learn.
I went on a tour here when I was about 10 years old, so my impressions may be a bit dated, but it was a good time going inside the dam and learning about how it all works. It's one of my fondest memories - and my best friend stayed up in the visitor's center because he was afraid the dam would collapse while we were in it. :P
An active quarry in the middle of nowhere. When we visited, we got a bit lost because one of their signs had been removed but that just added to the adventure! Haha. There's a small museum with an allosaurus skeleton replica and plenty to see if you're up for a little bit of hiking.

Fun place to go, especially if you're into hiking or swimming in giant salty puddles, but beware the smell of the lake that can sometimes be overpowering. Trillions of insects swarm the beaches, but they're harmless and you can check out the bison ranch. Pretty neat.
Though I am an atheist, I visit often just to admire the beautiful landscaping and architecture. I highly recommend visiting at least once in your life, regardless of your religious affiliation (or lack thereof).
Beautiful architecture and landscaping that just screams "OCD", haha. Nice place to visit when in SLC. Too bad the temple itself is closed off to the non-faithful, I'd really like to see inside for myself.
If you're interested in the history of the LDS church and Mormon pioneers, this is a fantastic place to visit.
Creepy old mansion. Worth the visit if in the area.
It's been a few years since I've been there. It's a short, easy hike assuming you're in decent shape. The view is definitely worth it.
