This is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Valets/doormen at all hours of the day. Beautiful lobby with a piano and old safe. We stayed in the double king room and I honestly had to take a video of me walking around in it to do it justice when I tried to explain how big it was to friends. When you first walk in there is a nice sitting area with a 1/2 bathroom. Then down the hall it splits off to the bedroom with a huge built in desk area and the other way is about a 20ft long bathroom! It has a closet, then sink area, then a bathtub, then a big double shower (fixtures on both front and back), and then another toilet. There are canvas prints of the building and other artwork with their own lighting that you can control on dimmer switches. After being in other hotels for a week I was even amazed that the HVAC is all hidden. Couldn't hear anything turning on and off all night. Also couldn't hear even footsteps of anyone else the whole time we stayed there.

We went to the Springs Orleans cajun themed restaurant three times in 24 hours. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all amazing there and it's a beautiful place.

My wife and daughter went to the spa and absolutely loved the pampering.

We will definitely be planning another trip out that way just to spend another night there!

I was so excited to stay here and I'm still happy we did, but I wanted to warn other people so they know what to expect. It's a very old hotel with creaking floors and smaller rooms with no AC. So to be there in the middle of July wasn't the most comfortable night of our vacation. It's also a tourist hotspot, which is great when you're the tourist and not so much when you're an overnight guest. We were in the room right next to 217 and the tours were outside our door all day. I think the Lodge building is better for privacy. That said, the architecture, grounds, and restaurants are amazing. I couldn't stop taking pictures of everything. Cascades has great food and drinks and over 900 types of whiskey.

Estes Park is a nice place, but very cramped and busy. Driving anywhere is a pain. And don't forget that reservations need to be made for more than just your room. The tours were booked, the illusionist that was there was booked, the Twin Owls Steakhouse nearby was booked. That's our fault, so I'm just trying to warn others so they don't make the same mistake.

We used this as a stop between the Badlands and Estes park. It's as perfect as you can get for the price. Nice pool. Hot tub seemed to have just a tad too many chemicals in it, because it got too foamy, but it felt great after a long drive. Amazing view of the Laramie mountains.

This place is great. Awesome pool play area for kids (and adults.) Casino seemed nice, even though we didn't partake. Restaurants are really, really good. We ate at Oggies for dinner and breakfast and it was great. Amazing view too. Nice to be tucked away from the bustle of Deadwood.

Loved it ever since Close Encounters. Still amazing to see people climbing it.

Definitely a must see if you are going to be in the area. Lots of great indian history and memorabilia. The last time I went was about 35 years ago and I didn't feel like much had changed until I saw the progress photos of the last 50 years. I understand why they are not taking corporate money to finish it, but with only public money going towards the effort I don't think it will be done very soon.

I was really impressed by this place. Amazing view and tucked away from the claustrophobic feel of the Keystone main drag. Love the fire pit at night and breakfast spread in the morning.
